Aux Arcs (pronounced “Ozarks”) Music is a music publishing venture specializing in distinctive and exciting arrangements and compositions for the modern concert band.

Our initial offerings in 2005 featured the music of Percy Aldridge Grainger (1882-1961) and Edvard Grieg (1843-1907), one of Grainger’s major musical influences. The influences of Percy Grainger in Orchestration, Philosophy of Music Education and Ethnology/World Music remain as our major philosophical cornerstones.

Our catalog has grown to encompass the legendary band transcriptions of Lawrence Odom, and to include the music of Peter Tchaikovsky. Future offerings will diversify the band offerings, and we plan to make forays into the are of the Percussion Orchestra.

Our arrangements have been selected for performances at prestigious venues including several CBDNA divisional meetings, MENC divisional meetings, numerous state Music Educators Conventions, the TMEA and the Midwest International Band and Orchestra Clinic.

We think conductors, musicians and audiences will enjoy the catalog of music from Aux Arcs Music.
